We are a group of crafters who work hard to supply Southside Hospital with baby blankets and clothing.
Southside Hospital is located in Bayshore NY. They deliver approximately 200 babies a month. Most of these families are poor and have nothing to clothe their babies in to bring them home. Our goal is to make sure every baby goes home with a handmade blanket or sweater set.
We also supply the NICU with smaller items for the preemies. They need hats and blankets to keep their little bodies warm. And, on a sad note, we also supply them with burial outfits for the little ones who don't make it.
